Just because your office is at home doesn’t mean that it has to be disorganized and shabby.

It’s really so simple to make your home office both appealing and organized.

* At the end of each workday straighten up your office.

* Once or twice a year clean out your files. Throw away any outdated or obsolete documents and file the rest.

* Keep all your supplies in one closet, shelf or container. Keeping all your supplies in one central area is a huge time-saver and will make you more productive.

* Keep a supplies list in a central place and make a note when any supplies run low.

* Consider having a paperless office. Scan all documents and then store them in properly labeled folders on your computer.

* Back-up your computer. It’s preferable to have 2 back-up’s – One on the external hard drive and the other with an online service.
